Link to article

"This week I sit down with Dr. Bill Dodson, a renowned psychiatrist specializing in adult ADHD. They delve into Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), a phenomenon common among individuals with ADHD in the U.S., often overlooked. Dr. Dodson explains that RSD involves intense emotional reactions to perceived rejection or failure, though it typically doesn't last as long as typical mood disorders.

Dr. Dodson's accolades include the Maxwell J. Schleifer Award for Distinguished Service to Persons with Disabilities in 2006 and being named a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association in 2012 for his significant contributions to the field of adult ADHD.

Dr. Dodson, a pioneer in adult ADHD treatment, is conducting research to validate RSD as a distinct syndrome and its association with ADHD. He invites individuals aged 18 and above, formally diagnosed with ADHD, to participate in a 20-minute study. Interested participants can contact Dr. Dodson directly at billdodson19@gmail.com."
